Now that I’ve got your attention:

Yesterday, I talked about the Bryant Park movies and how much freaking fun they are. I figured I would let you in on another exciting opportunity that happens each summer in NYC. And this one is a sexy one. Happening Soon!!

Each year, 200+ dancers assemble to put on a show, take off some clothing, and raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Now in its 22 year, Broadway Bares has decided on the 2012 theme: “Happy Endings”. To further elaborate, it will be an evening of Fairy Tails. Sexy, Stripping, Fairy Tails.

Each year, BC/EFA raises over a Million Dollars to help men, women and children across the country who are struggling with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. And it will help provide funding for the essential programs of The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic.

And on top of all that, it’s a really fun show. A One-Night-Only, two performance, show not to be missed. Held at Roseland Ballroom in Times Sq, the show is a mix of high energy dance, sketch comedy sequences, aerial acts, and did I mention the hot dancers? Throw in a few celebrities and it will be sure to be a night to remember!

I am also participating in the Bares Strip-A-Thon, a fundraiser amongst participants to raise additional money for the organization. So far, we have raised $178,761.82 of our $250,000 Goal. If you’d like to make a donation click here! You will help push me to reach my goal all while helping a fantastic cause.

I hope to see everyone there! As one of the Assistant Stage Managers, I’ll be peaking out from backstage, but keep an eye out for me running across the stage right before the performance clearing drinks from the edge (Don’t put your drinks on the stage!).

Glad to be involved in a project where taking off your clothes is for a good cause (suck on that Pretty Woman),

-Matt
